We cut to your length
One metre, two and a quarter, three and a half — whatever your tailor asked for. Running cloth is sold off the roll, so you are not buying a fixed pack and throwing half of it away.
Cloth by the metre · Miyapur, Hyderabad
Dress materials, handloom sarees, blouse pieces, shirting and lining — off the roll and onto the counter. Come with a saree and we will match a blouse to it by eye. Come with a function date and we will pull out the silks before you arrive.
Cut from one metre, no minimum bill. If you cannot see it, ask at the counter — most of the stock is on the shelves behind.

Blouse pieces and falls get held against your saree at the door where the light is honest. A phone screen will lie to you about a maroon. This is the part that cannot be done online, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

Fall and pico stitched here, usually same day if you leave it in the morning. Measurements taken with our tailor. Lining, canvas, interlining and buttons on the same bill.
On the shelf
Stock moves. What is listed here is what was on the shelf when the shop last updated it — if you are coming for something specific, call ahead or book a counter and we will keep it aside.

Book a counter
The shop is busiest between six and nine, and on festival weekends there is no counter free at all. Tell us when you are coming and what you are coming for. We keep a counter clear, and if you name a piece we take it off the shelf and set it aside with your name on it.

Festival weeks run longer. Ugadi, Bathukamma, Dasara and the wedding months are the busy ones — that is when booking a counter is worth the two minutes.
